How to get there

Travel to Amsterdam is easy by plane, by train and by car. The RAI International Exhibition & Congress Centre is located close to the International Airport of Schiphol and can be reached by direct train from Schiphol Airport.

By air
You can reach Amsterdam RAI from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol by car or public transport in less than 15 minutes. Schiphol Airport is one of Europe's biggest airports and offers passengers a high standard of service.

By tram & bus
If you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station (CS), you can take the Amstelveen express tram line 51 (travelling time: 12 minutes, exit at the Amsterdam RAI station) or tram line 4 (travelling time: 30 minutes, exit at the RAI Europaplein). If you are travelling by train to the station 'Amsterdam Amstel', you can take the Amstelveen express tram line 51 (travelling time: 5 minutes) or the bus (route 15, 69 or 169), which will bring you to the RAI within 10 minutes. In this case you should get off at RAI Europaplein. From Amsterdam Sloterdijk station, the best way to reach the RAI is with express tram line 50 to RAI Europaplein.

By train
The train and express tram/metro station 'Amsterdam RAI' is located 300 meters from the Amsterdam RAI and has regular connections to all parts of the Netherlands, including Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, and the major cities Rotterdam, Utrecht and The Hague. Major cities are also linked to the international European fast train network. Check the NS website (www.ns.nl) for your itinerary.

By car
The RAI is ideally suited for visitors who come by car. It is situated alongside the Amsterdam's A10 orbital motorway (exit S109) and has its own underground car parks. This means that the RAI is easily accessible for visitors coming from the Netherlands or abroad. All the main motorways can be reached without difficulty from the orbital motorway. Numerous signboards indicate repeatedly to the RAI. During large exhibitions orange signs displaying 'P RAI' will direct you to additional parking places. From there a free shuttle bus will bring you to the RAI.
