Wouter Bronsgeest works at the Information Management organisation (IM/Belastingregio's) of the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration. He is manager of a team in charge of Quality Assurance, Testing and Implementation of business processes and ICT systems. Areas of expertise are Enterprise Architecture, Testing (TMap Next) and Business Process (Re-)design. Before that he managed a number of different expert teams on the corporate level: Business & Enterprise Architecture, Quality Management & Assurance, Infrastructure and Information Security. He wrote and introduced the first Handbook Business Cases for the organisation. He was one of the initiators of the strategic Architecture Board, and chaired the board on the tactical level, and initiated the use of TOGAF, ArchiMate and different professional business and ICT related methods within the organisation.

Furthermore he introduced a curriculum of different in-house master classes and courses related to architecture and BPR. He has had different positions at Dutch Tax and Customs Administration as a Quality Manager, Business Consultant, and as Business Architect for the Dutch Customs. He started his career at a privately owned consultancy firm (Panfox) and a branch organisation for Direct Marketing, Distance Selling and Sales Promotion (DMSA). He studied at Radboud University Nijmegen, Roehampton University and is currently a member of the Centre for eGovernment Studies (CFES) at the University of Twente. On behalf of the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration he is a member of the board of the ArchiValue project, a consortium of Novay, AGP, BizzDesign, Hogeschool Utrecht and the University of Twente.

As secretary of the board of Ngi (Dutch Platform for ICT Professionals) his focus is on liaising with other professional organisations and implementing the European Digital Agenda of Commission Vice-President Neelie Kroes. Wouter works together with Van Haren Publishing in order to publish a book on evaluation models for projects with a major IT component. Partners in this project are Ngi and CFES.
